Database settings
With SBLCore Blue, the database is configured automatically and you can start using the software immediately.
When using SBLCore Green, choose the database location in the first step. You can decide whether it will be stored on your computer or on a SQL server.
Choose one of the following options:
- New database – choose where you want to store the database on your computer.
- Database on a server or on the internet – the database does not have to be stored on only one computer. You can create it on a SQL server and access it from multiple locations at the same time.
Warning! Never store the database on OneDrive or another online storage service, for example Dropbox. Doing so may damage the data.
If you have used the software before and already have an existing database, connect it using the Connect an existing database from a KDF file button.
Once you select the database, you can start using SBLCore.
