Creating a new company

Open the Contacts tab.

Contacts

Click the New button on the toolbar.

New

A new Contact tab will open.
In the Name/trading name field, enter the company’s official name.

warning Warning! Once saved, the company name can no longer be changed. Check that the name is correct (including correct capitalisation) before saving.

Fill in the required fields marked with an orange arrow.
Click the Save button.

Creating a company with a duty to notify in the PCN portal

The procedure for creating a company that will submit notifications to the PCN portal (Poison Centre Notification) can be found in the chapter: Creating a new company. However, a few additional details must be completed:

In the PCN – Poison Centre Notification section, select Yes in the Notifier field.
Three new fields will appear.
Complete the required Legal Entity UUID field marked with an orange arrow. You can find the Legal Entity UUID on the ECHA website after logging in to your account.
If you have access via S2S, you can also enter the username and key for S2S.
Check that all fields with an orange arrow are completed.
Click the Save button.
