Countries and languages
Safety data sheets for 36 countries and 27 languages – fast and hassle-free
How it works
Choose the states you need
When ordering SBLCore software, you select one or more countries for which you want to create safety data sheets. Additional supported countries can be added or removed as part of your subscription.
Create SDS in accordance with legislation
The software automatically adapts the safety data sheet to the requirements of the selected country. Based on the resulting classification, it automatically adds the corresponding phrases taking into account the applicable legislation.
Translate into national languages
You can translate each created safety data sheet into the selected official languages available for one or more active countries in just a few clicks.
Always up-to-date SDS effortlessly
The software monitors changes in European legislation and national regulations. When changes occur, it alerts you to outdated SDSs, suggests modifications, creates a new version of the document, and archives the old version.

When translating, we pay attention to accuracy, clarity and terminology that complies with
valid legislation. We check and regularly edit all translations according to
current changes in regulations and technical language of individual countries.
We monitor current changes in chemical legislation valid for the entire European Economic Area and for individual countries. As soon as new requirements require it, we update our system in a timely manner. If a change affects a specific safety data sheet, the software will mark it and automatically suggest the necessary changes during the update. You then just need to confirm the changes or adapt them as needed.
The system automatically marks the safety data sheet that needs to be updated –
orange if it is about to expire, or red if it is no longer valid.
The check concerns the format, the substances used and the control parameters
In the SBLCore Blue subscription, the list of countries can be managed in the software via the
Manage Subscription menu, available by clicking on the user account in the
upper right corner. The Countries tab provides an overview of all currently active countries,
including languages and activation date.
A new country can be added using the Add button. The addition takes effect immediately and the country is
immediately ready to be used for creating MSDSs or PCN notifications (depending on the support of the given country). To remove a country, simply select it and select the
Remove option. Removal can be set to a selected date, but not earlier than 30
days from the date of addition.
Within the annual plan, newly added countries or users are billed retroactively at the
end of each calendar month.
For the SBLCore Green perpetual license, adding a new country is possible after agreement with the
sales department or customer support.
The safety data sheet remains in the list even after the country for which it was originally created is deactivated. It is displayed in grey in the overview because without an active country it is not possible to verify its validity against the current legislation.
You can continue to work with the given safety data sheet - it is possible to edit it as needed. However, some parts of the document remain hidden when previewing and exporting.
A PCN notification cannot be submitted, as this requires an active country with the appropriate
links.
The safety data sheet can also be translated into the language of another country. If this country is
active, a full-fledged safety data sheet is created in full compliance with the legislation of the given market.
If a custom phrase is prepared in advance on the Phrases tab, it can be translated into all required languages when
creating it. When the safety data sheet is subsequently converted into another language, this phrase will automatically be used in its translated form.
However, if a custom phrase is created only when creating a specific safety data sheet,
and no translations are added, the sections and untranslated phrases that need to be added manually will be highlighted in the newly created safety data sheet when converted into another language.
