# Phrase database

When creating a safety data sheet (SDS), the software uses pre-prepared texts, which we call **{Fraze}**.

The phrases are selected according to the product classification and can be automatically added to the safety data sheet.

You can also work with phrases yourself. You can use the same phrase in several safety data sheets, so you do not have to write the same text again each time. This allows you to work faster, reduce typing errors and incomplete information, and maintain consistent wording in similar safety data sheets.

Phrases also make it easier to translate safety data sheets into other languages.

You can find all available phrases on the **{Fraze}** tab.

The software distinguishes between two types of phrases: **default** and **user-defined**. You can tell them apart in the list by their colour.

You can recognise default phrases by their **blue colour**. SBLCore provides them in all supported languages. When you use them, you can translate the entire safety data sheet without having to add translations manually.

In addition to default phrases, you can also create **user-defined phrases** with your own texts. You can recognise them by their **black colour.** You can edit and delete them and use them repeatedly.

After installation, the list of user-defined phrases is empty. The first phrase will appear in it only after you create it.
